Barometer

On October 15th, during our lab we made a Barometer. We used a small glass container. We then used a balloon and cut it so that we could put it around the mouth of the glass container.  My partner (Lorin) and I made sure that the balloon was tight enough, but not too tight to where it would rip.We taped the balloon down to the glass.
We then cut a straw in half and taped the straw to the middle of the balloon.

Here is a picture of our Barometer.

We were asked to measure the pressure during each day, my data will be presented in a later blog.

In case anyone would like to make their own homemade barometer, here is a quick tutorial I found on youtube! Enjoy!
